This little sampler by Alice Hutchinson, aged 9, is completely charming. The upper section is stitched with the rows of alphabet letters and numbers with a row of floral urns and crowns beneath.
The lower section is stitched with a central floral motif flanked by a red crown and slightly smaller floral motif.
Alice's details are stitched beneath underlined with a floral border.

The sampler is stitched on 46 count linen with Valdani over dyed floss 2 over 2 (the shopping list for Valdani floss included)
